General Hospital Spoilers: Do You Really Know Donnell Turner?

While there’s no doubt that their on screen persona is much different than their off screen persona, there’s still so much to learn about our favorite daytime television stars. 

Luckily, General Hospital star Donnell Turner, who is best known for his role as Curtis Ashford, recently opened up about some of his likes and his dislikes.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Donnell was asked how he likes to start his day off each morning and not surprisingly, it’s just like the rest of us! He said, “I take my coffee black daily, but occasionally I get a sugar-free vanilla almond milk latte.”

Now, when it comes to his preferences and what he likes to listen to in the car, he said, “A 2000s hip-hop playlist on Apple Radio.” And believe it or not, Donnell said that his favorite sitcom is the classic “Three’s Company.” “Still love it,” he raved.

As far as what Donnell likes to do when he’s not filming on the set of General Hospital, he said, “I go home, recline in bed, chill with  my wonderful cat and I watch either Columbo or Murder She Wrote.”

When the publication asked him who or what makes him smile, he also said, “When I think of how fortunate I am to have this life and the wonderful people I get to share it with, I smile from the inside out with gratitude.”

While there’s no doubt that everyone loves Curtis Ashford in Port Charles, Donnell certainly sounds like the kind of guy we wouldn’t mind hanging out with in real life. 

He just sounds so chill, relaxed and down-to-earth, right? It’s no wonder that so many people call him a fan favorite!
