General Hospital Spoilers: Who Will Be Port Charles Next DA
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) sudden departure from Port Charles will leave a void in the District Attorney’s office.
As viewers know, Robert decided to leave town with his one true love, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) even though he had just discovered he had a daughter in Port Charles, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
But Robert and Holly have loved each other for decades, so perhaps it’s time they get a bit of a happy ending. But who could replace him as the leading prosecutor of Port Charles. Let’s take a look at a few options.
General Hospital Spoilers – Molly Lansing-Davis already works for Robert Scorpio
Although she just graduated law school a few years ago, Molly has taken on a lot of cases as one of the office’s newest hires. But even though Molly is quite good at her job, she only has a few years’ experience under her belt.
She’s most likely not ready to take all of that responsibility on her shoulders. Besides, Molly is still dealing with the death of her baby daughter as well as her sister, Sam Mccall (Kelly Monaco). Molly will make an excellent DA, but not just yet.
GH Spoilers – Ric Lansing is a brilliant attorney
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is a brilliant attorney and could certainly do a good job as the DA, if he really wanted to. But Ric likes to work in the private sector because it’s much more lucrative.
Not only that, but he is the brother of mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Even though Ric and Sonny don’t get along, there would always be potential for a conflict of interest should Sonny be involved in a case.
Besides, he’s Molly’s father and if he took the DA position, he would also be her boss, which just isn’t a good idea for anyone involved.
General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Grey might be the best choice
Although he is Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) half-brother, Martin might actually be the best person for the District Attorney position. His recent handling of Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) proves that Martin is a formidable attorney on his own.
He seems like he would be firm, but fair. But like Ric, Martin likes to work for wealthy clients. The DA position might seem like a bit of a demotion. However, all things considered, if he would be willing to take the position, Martin may just be the best person for the job at the moment.
What do you think?
Were you surprised that Robert left town with Holly? Who should replace Robert at the DA? Could you see Molly, Ric or Martin filling Robert’s shows as District Attorney?
