The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Refutes Phyllis, Daniel Provokes Sharon, A Familiar Face Returns
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 23 tease that the torrid action today centers on the ripple effects of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) killing Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and framing Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) for the crime.
Yes you read that right—Sharon has murdered again. This time around she wasn’t being tortured and stalked as she was when she killed evil Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) who is now her advisor in all things murderous. Thus, it’s unlikely that she will skate unless she uses an insanity defense.
Luckily, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) instinctively knows that her enemy Sharon is behind everything bad that happens in GC.

Phyllis goes to the man she and Sharon have fought over for decades, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and accuses her rival of misdeeds. If it were anyone else, Nick may have trusted them, but given the women’s history it’s too convenient for Red to point the finger at Sharon.
Phyllis is hellbent on proving that her son Daniel is innocent, and she’s not wrong. It’s just that she’s cried wolf so many times …
She leaves Nick concerned about her next step. As he should be since it looks like Phyllis will dig deep into her bag of tricks.

Meanwhile, Daniel confronts Sharon. Daniel pleads with her to tell the truth and recant her story to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about Heather saying that she fought with Daniel.
Sharon is lying about the argument and knows better than to admit to cold blooded murder.
Later, Daniel video calls his dad Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and expresses his fear about the evidence Sharon planted against him.

Daniel did right by calling his dad, as Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) comes home to represent him. Can you imagine Cricket and Red playing on the same team?
We can’t either, which is why it looks like Phyllis will resort to some shady tactics, infuriating her enemy. Can’t we all just get along?
