Per the latest reports, Tim Walz is nervous about his debate with JD Vance as Pete Buttigieg is filling in as Vance during their ‘long sessions that have gone late into the night,” according to CNN.
Walz had previously warned Harris that he was not a good debater. What’s more, he is worried he will let Harris down according to campaign staffers.
Walz’s team is trying to manage his “headspace” with Buttigieg playing Vance in mock debates.
“Tim Walz is telling people he’s just as nervous about facing JD Vance as he was the Sunday afternoon in August when he warned Kamala Harris in his running mate interview that he was a bad debater,” CNN reported.
Not only that, but it’s also being said that Walz is incredibly nervous.
Of course, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some people even commented with, “I am not convinced he is nervous. I can see the Harris campaign working diligently to lower expectations for this debate, as they did hers, so they can call even an average performance a win for them.”
