There’s a new report that says Tim Walz made quite the embarrassing mistake talking about Kamala Harris and her past.

The governor referred to Kamala Harris’ early career as a “young prostitutor.” 

Oops! That surely didn’t go down too well.

Walz said, “Because this started, and I love this story. As a young prostitutor, Kamala Harris talked about going in that courtroom for the first time.”

However, it’s been noted that Walz claim is incorrect as Kamala Harris started her career as deputy district attorney in Alameda County before becoming appointed by Willie Brown to the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.

She was later appointed as an assistant district attorney for San Francisco. But in 2011, Harris became the Attorney General of California.

Of course, the internet sure did have a field day in the comments section over Walz’s mistake.

Some commented with, “Looks like Governor Walz had a bit of a slip there!”

“While it’s easy to mix up words, it’s always important to focus on the actual facts when discussing someone’s career. Kamala Harris has had a long career in law, starting as a district attorney.”

Another critic wrote, “Well, at least he got the beginning correct. God works in mysterious ways sometimes.”

Meanwhile, now that the Donald Trump and Kamala Harris ABC News debate is behind us, a lot of people can’t help but wonder when the JD Vance and Tim Walz debate will be on national television.

According to reports, the 2024 United States vice presidential debate will be on Tuesday, October 1 at 9pm EST and is expected to last until 10:30pm. The debate will take place in New York City and will be hosted by CBS News.
