But Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) outwitted her, drugging Steffy’s iced tea as she likely had Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) drink bottle. Viewers learned that the unseen person put a powder into Tom’s plastic container just before he went on stage at Il Giardino.
Steffy’s dilemma is three-fold. Her family believes she’s taken a trip out of town and is not missing. Luna is locked in a cage, and the building where she’s trapped is set for demolition.

Tom’s last performance was supposed to represent his comeback. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) encouraged him to sing at the popular local restaurant.
As viewers learned, Tom met Luna’s mother two decades ago at a music festival. She also met Bill there and wanted to believe that he was Luna’s father, not Tom.
Luna must have believed or known that Tom was her father and killed him because of that. Bill represents access to the good life she is trying to rob her mother of through the frame.

Luna moved downstate to Los Angeles, California. She wanted to break from her old life. Viewers were led to believe that she was a sweet soul.
RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) bought her act, as did so many other people, including Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Steffy became the first person to catch on when she accidentally saw her kiss Bill.
Revealed as the person who killed Tom and seemingly Hollis as well, Luna must face soapy justice. So, the countdown to Yamada’s time on this show has begun ticking.
Luna intends to torture Steffy for a short period and then probably leave her in the apartment complex to be killed, presuming her body is never found.

As devoted viewers recall, Bill and Steffy saved Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) from a building’s implosion seven years ago.
While the circumstances are different, viewers are told that the building where Poppy and Luna lived is set to be demolished. That event should take place shortly, with Luna now tasked with emptying the apartment after her mother was imprisoned.
Of course, Poppy is in jail because Luna seems to have framed her. Unless some other baffling intel is revealed, Luna is the mastermind behind the crimes and now intends to end Steffy’s life.
So, the next great rescue sequence trends toward Bill being involved in learning that Steffy is missing. Liam, RJ, Katie, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), and Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda) are potential players in B&B’s coming Steffy save.
