General Hospital Spoilers: Critical Updates
Jason rushes into the PCPD, determined to update Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on the latest threat from Cates regarding Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Jagger had double-crossed him, jeopardizing his safety by throwing him under the bus to infiltrate a gang in a prison as his informant.
Frustrated, Jason pleads with Anna for fairness, asking for the same consideration she had shown Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
With Valentin missing, Anna is stuck in a tough spot, torn between locating the Cassadines and avoiding their capture. Maybe it is time to redirect Cates south, where their plans have seemed to go!
GH Spoilers: Family Discussions
At Bobbie’s, Kristina and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) catch up over a meal, diving into deep family discussions. Kristina admits to Michael that she’s just as much of a concern as he is in the family dynamics.
The conversation revolves around their father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and his recent erratic behavior.
Kristina witnessed Sonny’s explosive outburst towards Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), while Michael has also noticed some troubling signs.
Despite their efforts, Sonny remains in denial, making it difficult for them to convince him to seek a mental health evaluation for a possible medication adjustment.
General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Meets With Sonny
Carly meets up with Sonny, giving him a heads up about Cates’ plan to bring him down. Sonny, being the suspicious man he is, is not surprised by the news.
Paranoia has been consuming him ever since Valentin tampered with his medication. Little did he know, those meds are now completely ineffective-all thanks to Ava Jerome (Maura West). Despite being the mastermind behind it, Ava is not likely to confess anytime soon.
Even in her discussions with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), her lawyer, she denies any involvement, even though she did tell what she knew about Sonny’s meds being placebos.
GH Spoilers: Desperate Deals
In the meantime, as Cates tries to bring Sonny down, he resorts to desperate negotiations with Ava. Despite his calm demeanor, he makes it clear to her that it’s a two-way street – if she wants his help, she’ll have to help him too.
Despite Jason’s warning to Jagger about not trusting Ava, he brushes off the advice. Meanwhile, Ava confided in Scott about how close she and Cates have become. How close, indeed?
General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Continues Her Warning To Sonny
It seems like Carly and Sonny are still in their meeting, and Sonny is clearly talking about Cates when he mentions someone needing to teach him a lesson!
Sonny never really trusted Cates, even though he was close to his late brother Michael “Stone” Cates (Michael Sutton).
The tension between them dates back over twenty-five years, with Jagger holding onto a lot of bitterness, despite being the one who left his late wife, who used to work at Sonny’s club.
Jagger left for the West Coast without a second thought for Stone, and now he’s pointing fingers at Sonny for everything, including Karen Wexler’s (Marie Wilson) death.
The only issue is that Jagger had already divorced her before she returned to Port Charles and passed away, having cheated on her and had a son with the other woman!
