However, Kyle could think that Summer is being too controlling and rigid. Kyle could make Summer’s head spin by reminding her that she’s not Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) real mother.

Y&R spoilers reveal that from the minute Harrison met Claire, the two bonded. At home, Harrison has temporarily lost his nanny.
While his nanny is taking care of her sick mother, Kyle and Summer have been searching for someone to fill in.
Unfortunately, Harrison rejected five qualified nannies in a row. Then, Harrison met Claire and instantly bonded.

Kyle approached Summer with the possibility of Claire babysitting Harrison until the nanny situation is worked out. At the time, Summer didn’t even know about Claire’s past.
However, Summer had a gut feeling that she needed to find out more about Claire. When Summer learned the truth, she put her foot down on Claire having anything to do with Harrison.
Shortly after that, Kyle and Claire had a meet cute. It was clear that the two were interested in each other. However, Claire’s history might pose a problem for Summer since anyone Kyle dates is a potential stepmom to Harrison.
The Young And The Restless spoilers – Summer Newman’s Hard-Nosed Stance
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that if Kyle and Claire pursue a romantic relationship, then Claire could put her foot down even harder. Summer doesn’t want Kyle back and is in her own romance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
However, Summer is concerned about Claire getting too close to Harrison. At least, this early in Claire’s recovery.

If Kyle starts to get real feelings for Claire, then he could put his foot down with Summer. As “Skyle” battles it out, Kyle could throw a cruel curveball at Summer. Kyle could tell Summer that she is not Harrison’s biological parent, so his decision trumps hers.
It would be cruel, and Summer IS Harrison’s mother in all the ways that matter. For a soap, Kyle and Summer are just co-parenting too well, so expect some kind of bombshell or conflict.
