Is it time for them to move on from Genoa City already? That’s what a lot of The Young and the Restless fans can’t help but wonder as it seems like no one is really interested in power couple Tessa and Mariah and their storylines anymore. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

During the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Mariah and Tessa celebrate the purchase of their new home together. And while you’d think that would be something to celebrate, it seems like the majority of Y&R viewers out there just don’t care. In fact, a lot of them are complaining that the couple have gotten quite boring each time they are in front of the cameras. And could they be right?

Of course, many Y&R fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some of them even commented with, “Mariah and Tessa are boring because they write terribly for the characters. Many may not agree but I like Victoria with Nate better than I do her with Cole. Audra is bouncing back and forth with Tucker. They should have her and Nate heat it up as they console one another over their break ups,” along with, “We are never going to see their new house so who cares? We don’t see Chelsea’s cafe loft, Victoria’s cute cottage burned and she seems to have forgotten, Billy barely knows about his children’s childhood home either, Sharon’s ranch is a distant memory as is the character. Important characters like Adam don’t get a condo and the legendary Chancellor mansion forgets about its residents.”

Another critic wrote, “So boring and in times where no sets are available storylines like that should be avoided. I wonder if GH has the better budget or is just smarter with the budget because GH has way more sets.”
