Young and the Restless Spoilers: Plot Twist! Chance & Abby Are Still Married

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that in the land of Genoa City, anything is possible! Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor) recently acknowledged that their divorce papers were signed, sealed, and delivered during a scene at Crimson.

That being said, it always isn’t shown on canvas if and when divorces “officially” go through. Still, even when they are, there’s always the chance that paperwork wasn’t filed correctly or some sort of loophole that keeps a couple as “husband” and “wife” even if they aren’t “together”.

Could this be the case for Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd)?

Y&R Spoilers: Hints Of A Chabby Reunion

Y&R spoilers note that actress Melissa Ordway recently teased during an interview that Chance and Abby would be in each other’s orbits more this new year, and hinted at the “hope” of a Chabby reunion.

Chabby fans would love nothing more; however, Summance fans may have an issue with this! Summer and Chance just started dating, and as with any budding super couple, they’ll have to jump through hoops before they land in their “happily ever after” (or “happy for now”) phase.

Mix in the idea that Chance and Abby will be spending more time at work, possibly because Abby is vying for a board seat at Chancellor-Winters, and if Chabby aren’t “officially” divorced, this could cause issues for Summer and Chance.

Y&R Spoilers: Will Chabby Think It’s A Sign?

Obviously, official documents don’t mean that much to Abby since she cheated on Chance while they were married. Still, if they start spending more time together, and Abby sees how different he is in his new career, could the two catch feelings?

After all, minus the idea that Abby is with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), the very man she cheated on Chance with, Chabby’s one main issue was his police work getting in the way of his family life and their relationship.

Now that Chance is no longer a cop, could Abby’s eye wonder? The two may see the divorce papers loophole as possibly a sign that they should have never separated.
