General Hospital News: Ingo Rademacher Is Bitter Over Steve Burton Getting Rehired?

Could it be that former General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher might be a wee bit jealous that Steve Burton is returning to Port Charles and he’s not? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder. Apparently the actor, who was best known for his role as Jasper Jacks on the hit ABC soap, took to his Instagram account on the same day that it was announced that Steve was returning to the show to clarify a few things. Here’s what you need to know.

General Hospital News: Ingo Rademacher Is Bitter Over Steve Burton Getting Rehired?

Both Ingo and Steve got let go from General Hospital at the same time for not complying with the ABC network’s vaccine mandate back in 2021.In a video that he posted on Instagram, Ingo started off by saying, “I was fired for not complying for the vaccine mandate but in the discovery process, we found out they were actually trying to fire me before the vaccine mandate because they didn’t like my political and social views.”

The former actor also added in his caption, “I think it’s time to set the record straight on a few things about my lawsuit against against ABC Disney which is now in appeals. I recorded this on January 1 but hadn’t had time to post it. I say this because the news of Steve Burton coming back on the show was announced today and a big congratulations to him. Also a big thank you to General Hospital for proving me right. I know some of you are going to say well, ‘If you wouldn’t have sued them, maybe you could’ve come back too,’ but that’s not true because what we found out during discovery is that they were trying to figure out a way to fire me (without getting sued) because they didn’t like my political and social views.”

General Hospital News: Is Ingo Being A Little Salty?

So far Ingo hasn’t made any additional comments about the matter but a lot of critics think that he’s being a little salty over the fact that Steve got his job back but he hasn’t gotten a call from the producers yet.
