The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 5 reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has been a very busy girl offscreen.

She has been putting in the hours for her new company, one she retooled from Kirsten Incorporated. She’s also been seeing Chance Chancellor (Conor Floyd) who doesn’t deserve the goddess.

In this episode fans will see the hard worker close her eyes and enter dreamland. This is a special standalone episode featuring Sharon!

Sharon experiences her life, one in which her history and the present day are on display. She has some choices to make about the future.

This week her former stepdaughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) confronted her about Chance. It started when Sharon overheard Summer and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) talking about the hunk.

Later Sharon admitted she overheard them, and actually Summer handled the subsequent convo surprisingly well, admitting that she is interested in Sharon’s man and asking her where things stand between the couple.

Later Chance came in and found himself smack dab in the middle of a very awkward situation. Will Sharon dream about Chance and the future? Definitely maybe!

Sharon is also a mom with a coffeehouse to run. These variables will factor into her dream as her unconscious mind tries to make sense of a jumble of emotions and impressions.

Maybe it was a good thing that Summer provoked her, maybe that confrontation will lead to some soul searching and answers.

One thing is certain, and that is that Sharon’s standalone episode will be filled with special memories that will delight fans and give a glimpse of what lies ahead for this legendary character who is part of the backbone of Y&R.
