The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, October 16: Daniel’s Betrayal, Nick’s Emergency Meeting, Sally’s Confession

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 16 tease that some female rivalry kicks into gear as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) discovers that Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) ex Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is coming back to live in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

She had been living with the couple’s daughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) in Portugal, but that gambit is off the table and she has inferred that she is re-interested in Daniel.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Daniel’s Omission

Lily is worried that Daniel did not tell her this news directly, and this omission could lead to some tension even though fans have not been privy to any great relationship building onscreen between Daniel and Lily, who were once teen lovers and are now revisiting their past love.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victor’s Machinations

Elsewhere Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) little side project gains steam as he plots to make his loved ones believe that he is losing his marbles. Because a father loves his children!

But Victor is crazy like a fox and his dropping hints that he is not all there—like calling his kids by the wrong name—is merely a loyalty test.

Last week he confessed to his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he is putting on an act to ferret out the betrayers from the loyalists. She was dismayed, but what can she do, he is The Great Victor Newman and he has a mind of his own.

Y&R Spoilers: Victor’s Test

Victor’s kids, including holdout Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), have all worked for Newman Enterprises at one time or another, and with varying degrees of success.

At this stage of the game Victor wants to know who he can trust, and he is making himself seem vulnerable to determine who will take advantage of his weakness and who will come to his rescue.

Spoilers reveal that after Nick witnesses a troubling incident with Victor, he calls an emergency family meeting to discuss the patriarch’s situation. But not all of Victor’s kids get an invite, with black sheep Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and half-in, half-out Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) being excluded.

But full blood Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Nikki, are informed about Nick’s worries. Nick has no idea of what Victor is pulling, with Nikki’s approval. This scheme is also a test of Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) loyalty so it will be interesting to see how the serial betrayer handles the crisis.

Meanwhile, Adam visits Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) after his brother Nick dumped her due to Adam’s outsize influence in her life. Things get tense between the ex’s with Sally blurting out that she can’t quit Adam and his bad boy ways. Is that reunion sex we hear in the background?!
