Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, August 8 reveal that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) returns to work. Kaya Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) helps Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) runs into more trouble at the bakery. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is shocked by something at Bayview.
Marlena Evans Witnesses Something Shocking
Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal Marlena witnesses something shocking at Bayview. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is rumored to have a very violent reaction to the sight of Harris Michaels (Steve Burton). Ava will be so upset that she will have to be sedated. It is unclear if Ava knows Harris or if she is mistaking him for someone else in her hallucinations.
However, once Ava calms down, Ava and Harris will begin to bond. Of course, Ava has been locked up for months after causing Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) death by running her car off a cliff with Susan in it to get revenge on EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel) for taking Jake Dimera’s (Brandon Barash) Dimera Enterprise shares away from her.
DOOL Spoilers: Kayla Johnson Helps Abe Carver
Chanel’s bakery runs into trouble again probably thanks to the acting mayor, Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry). Clint was very unhappy that Chanel was able to reopen the bakery. Now it seems that the bakery will end up being shut down again and possibly for good this time. After all, Rawlings warned Chanel that he would close the doors for good if there was another problem.
Kayla counsels troubled Abe. Abe has a traumatic brain injury after being bashed over the head by Colin Bedford (ex-Jasper Newman) at Sweet Bits. After surgery, Whitley King (ex-Kim Coles) kidnaps Abe and began drugging him to keep him under her control. Unfortunately, all of this has caused Abe issues with regaining his memory. Will Kayla be able to help Abe get his life back on track?

Shawn returns to work, feeling guilty. Shawn and his drinking already got him suspended from work. Unfortunately, Shawn’s actions got Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) fired as commissioner. Shawn feels very guilty that his drinking ended up causing Rafe to get fired because Shawn couldn’t keep his mouth shut about Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Rafe.
It doesn’t seem that Shawn comes back to his job as a detective though. Spoilers say that Shawn believes his job is beneath him. Will Shawn be brought back to work at a desk instead of as a detective? Could Shawn get busted down to a mail clerk or end up filing paperwork? Whatever the case, it seems Shawn will be jeopardizing his new job soon enough.
