Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) enjoy sweet distraction as Sydney Val Jean (Chandra Wilson) introduces a night of thrills, and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) makes ominous threats.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sweet Distractions
Michael and Willow spend the first evening of the Nurses’ Ball at home in the Quartermaine gatehouse, enjoying sweet distractions ahead of her upcoming bone marrow transplant. Michael asks if she’s okay with not attending the ball, and she confirms that she’s right where she wants to be. Sydney comes on the television and introduces herself as editor of the East Coast office of Crimson Magazine, and they’re live on the Red Carpet.
She verifies she’s broadcasting from the 2023 General Hospital Nurses’ Ball and she’s back and flying solo tonight. It’s her pleasure to interview the arrivals, critique their fashion and get a little low down on their personal lives.
GH Spoilers: Meanwhile, Backstage – A Night Of Thrills?
Meanwhile, backstage, hidden among the curtains and the ropes, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has again escaped the safe house and is dressed for the ball. She’s crying as she hears Sydney, as she should be out there with her instead of her flying solo and raises a champagne glass.
Lucy just couldn’t stay away, and now has compromised everything that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have been doing to take Victor down. As Lucy is doing all she can do to restrain herself from joining Sydney on the Red Carpet, Sydney continues to broadcast. She tells viewers they’re in for a night of thrills, excitement and mystery.
General Hospital Spoilers: Lurking, Listening, And Laughing
Meanwhile, Victor also is watching the festivities on a laptop inside a van parked in an inconspicuous place. He lurks, and listens to the broadcast and laughs, as Sydney says to remember that anything can happen at the Nurses’ Ball and probably will. He shakes his head in amusement and says “oh, you have no idea”! He’ll make an ominous prediction that can’t be taken as anything but a threat.
The question is now, exactly what is Victor planning to do that will impact the Nurses’ Ball, other than Lucy being on his hit list along with Valentin and Anna? There will be arrests, terrible news, and Lucy will be frantic again, as by the end of the week Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be called to a crime scene!
