Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, when asked what is her least favorite household chore, Melissa said, “Dusting the baseboards,” but when asked about the best day of the week, she said, “Sunday. It’s a laid-back and restful day that we spend together as a family.”

Melissa also said that she had an imaginary friend growing up (didn’t we all?).  “Yes! His name was Michael. My mom would have to set a place at dinner for him. Maybe it’s an only-child thing?”

The beautiful blonde also said that there is one board game that makes her super competitive, and it’s Monopoly. She said, “[My husband] Justin [Gaston, ex-Chance et al] and I play a tournament every Christmas.“

The Young and the Restless News: What’s Next For Abby?

Back in October, Melissa talked about Abby’s problems with her husband, Chance. She said, “I’m excited to see what could happen because in the soap world, when you’re too happy for too long, the audience starts to find you boring. I don’t want there to be too much drama but I think that it’ll be interesting to play. I want Abby and Chance to stay together but maybe they don’t get along and kind of explore those issues. It’s very difficult to be married to Victor Newman’s daughter because he’s always doing bad stuff, so that’s a very difficult position for Chance to be in.”

When asked about some of her character’s marital conflicts, Melissa explained, “Not necessarily Victor drama, but it’d be interesting to show the day-to-day stuff that couples go through, like getting annoyed with each other and parental disagreements because I feel like a lot of people can relate.”

Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
