The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Bryton James Isn’t Happy About Mishael Morgan’s Departure
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that if there’s one person who is truly unhappy about seeing Mishael Morgan leave Genoa City, it’s Bryton James. That’s because the actor has made it no secret that he loves working with her, both on a professional level and a personal one. Here’s what he has to say about her departure.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Bryton James Isn’t Happy About Mishael Morgan’s Departure
Just recently Mishael, who is best known for her role as Amanda Sinclair on the hit soap, revealed that she wanted to take a step back from the daytime television world in order to focus on some of the other projects that she has in her life and of course, her family. No one can blame her for wanting to spend a little more time at home with her two kids, right? Well, as understanding as Bryton is, he couldn’t help but tell Soaps.com that he’s truly going to miss having Mishael around behind the scenes at CBS studios. “More than anything, I’ve lost not just a scene partner but a friend,” he confessed. “You know, we’ve known each other for, gosh, almost 10 years now.”
Bryton also added that things are certainly going to look a little different for everyone now that Mishael won’t be there anymore. “It’s gonna be sad not to be around her and her energy on set,” James declared. “When you work with someone for that long, there’s a comfort that you have. You feel safe in any kind of scene, and anything that you have to take on, you do it together. So I’ll always miss that.”
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next In Genoa City?
Mishael addressed her departure earlier this year and explained to her fans why she decided to drop down to recurring status with the soap back in September. “A lot of people have noticed that my name is not on the main credits anymore and I wanted everybody to know that it was my decision,” she said in a video message shared in an Instagram Story. “I decided, actually back in December, that I wanted to take a bit of a step back from the show.”
