Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings Jan 12-16: Major Recasts, New Characters + More
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint at some major moments during the week of January 12-16! There’s also some casting news to talk about, too! Find out who’s coming and who’s going on the Peacock soap over the next five days (and beyond), by reading below.
Major Recast News
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest some major recasts on the horizon in the spring of 2026. A new Rachel Black is set to arrive in March 2026, while a new Thomas DiMera, and Arianna “Ari” Horton will be recast as well, with their replacements starting in April 2026.
This means fans will be bidding adieu to Alice Halsey (Rachel), Cary Christopher (Thomas) and Marissa Reyes (Ari), very soon. No confirmation has been made on the actor and actresses stepping into these roles.
In addition, as most Days fans know, The Young and the Restless alum Conner Floyd (ex-Chance Chancellor) will step into the role of Chad DiMera, come April of this year.
New Characters
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 12 note that actress Kim Hawthorne will be seen as Dr. Gregory, Rachel’s doctor at Bayview.
The good doctor will meet with Rachel’s dad, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to talk about Rachel’s progress (or potential lack thereof).
In other “new character” news, young actor Jack Ferrero will make an appearance this week.
He’s highlighted in the Days weekly promo, alongside Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Liam Selejko, played by Hank Northrop. In a scene from the preview, Liam and a little boy (presumably his son) are at the hospital. This is when Sarah notices something odd about Liam’s hand.
Ferrero is known for roles in The Muppets Mayhem and Volkswagen: An American Love Story. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of role he plays in the soap opera, this coming week.
