There’s no doubt that Brooke once cared for Nick. They have a grown son, Jack Marone (last played by Frank and Morgan Gingerich), who was last seen on-screen as a child in 2011.
Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) brave rescue of Brooke reinforced the enduring and unbreakable bond they have.
He didn’t hesitate to jump into the water and save his Logan after seeing her fall off the boat. Jack couldn’t steer.
Nick Marone’s Pull Isn’t That Strong
Brooke was only married to Nick once, from 2006 to 2007. That single nuptial pales in comparison to the eight marriages she’s had with Ridge. She has a grown son, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), who was born a handful of years before Jack, with Ridge.
Jack is occasionally mentioned, as devoted fans know. Not seeing him return with his father during Nick’s current revival could be a sign that Wagner’s return is a short-term gig.
Nick was right to assume that Brooke would be open to him wooing her. But like Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), Nick willed himself to believe that history could be defeated.
Ridge Forrester Needs To Tell Taylor Hayes
Fans are wondering how Ridge is going to break the news to Taylor. He’ll likely detail why he needed to save Brooke. But along with that understandable explanation will come hard answers to questions about why he was trailing her.
Eric Forrester (John McCook) was determined to force the issue in Italy. His attempts to persuade Nick to back off failed, but Ridge was convinced to talk with Brooke.
The conversation they had in the beautiful plaza, which seemed to be recorded with authenticity, where locals were used as extras, was interrupted by Nick. He offered Brooke a diversion from the heartache Ridge represented.
Ridge has some verbal gymnastics to perform when he explains how he got from his hotel room to the water, where he swam to save Brooke from drowning.
Brooke Logan’s Destiny Language Is More Than Words
Holding Brooke in his arms, while promising to make things right, naturally convinced her that the engagement to Taylor would soon be over. The allure of Italy is vastly different than the reality of Los Angeles, California, where all parties will return.
Lang’s character only had her belief in destiny in recent months. But she held onto it confidently because Ridge didn’t quickly marry Taylor, who asked him to remarry her rather than the reverse.
The extreme drama that unfolded during Forrester Creations’ latest fashion trip matters. So, Brooke is expected to gamble by rejecting Nick’s engagement offer while waiting for Ridge to return to her.
