General Hospital spoilers indicate that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has a motive for bribing Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois).
Sidwell wants to put Sonny in the middle of a criminal investigation during the Measure C vote in order to force Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) to sell his piers, which would put an end to his organization.
However, Judge Heran may have second thoughts being an officer of the court, and want to do the right thing and come forward.
Jenz Sidwell Puts His Plan In Motion
Sidwell has said that “time is of the essence” and he will put his plan into motion at the best possible moment.
Part of the deal could be that Judge Heran comes forward about the bribe, close to election time, and indicate to the authorities that Sonny paid her off to ensure that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) gets full custody of his children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko).
She has the transaction from her bank account to prove it. This would put the custody decision in complete disarray, and could be good news for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Sonny Corinthos Is Under Scrutiny
Now that word has gotten out that Sonny is accused of being off Judge Heran in the custody case, everyone in Port Charles would be talking about it.
Although Sonny would deny any culpability, the damage would be done, as the public could already condemn him.
Sidwell would be pleased as his plan is moving along beautifully now, and Sonny could be forced to do as he has asked.
Judge Eva Heran Has A Crisis Of Conscience
Realizing the error of her ways and that Willow is indeed an unfit parent to her children, Judge Heran would tell Sidwell that she is going to come forward with the truth.
She is going to tell the police that he paid her off, not Sonny, in an attempt to stop what she started. She will even try to get a new custody hearing in place in order to fairly determine custody of Michael and Willow’s children.
Sidwell would tell her that she will do no such thing, and if she values her life, she will keep quiet.
Sidwell’s threats would shake her. He would tell her that his plan is going perfectly, and the last thing that he needs is her screwing it up!

If the judge does have second thoughts, she shouldn’t advise Sidwell what she is going to do – that would just be stupid. But I guess Sidwell will be like Drew find out everything he needs to know so he can counter act.
