General Hospital spoilers say that with everything going on in this fictional town of Port Charles right now, it seems like a lot of viewers are thinking the same thing: should Jason Morgan come back? And if so, should the character be recast with another actor? Here’s what you need to know!
General Hospital POLL: Should Jason Morgan Be Recast? Sound Off!
As many fans already know by now, actor Steve Burton, who was best known as Jason Morgan, was forced to leave the hit ABC soap after both he and his co-star Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jasper Jacks) failed to comply with the network’s vaccine mandate. Since then, it seems like there’s been a gaping hole in the soap as a lot of fans and critics alike both agree that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could sure use Jason’s help right about now while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) seems to be equally as lost.
General Hospital spoilers say that Sonny has been stuck between a rock and a hard place as he desperately still loves Carly, but seems to be more interested in hopping into bed with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Needless to say, Carly has made it pretty clear that she’s moving on with her life, for better or for worse.

A lot of General Hospital fans believe that if Jason were still in Port Charles, he would be able to give Sonny that heart to heart talk that he so desperately needs to hear right now. What’s more, there’s also a chance that Carly might have gotten up close and personal (in a really personal sense) with her ‘best friend’ Jason Morgan, if you know what we mean. This has prompted a lot of people to wonder, is it time for Jason to come back? And seeing how it won’t be Steve Burton who will be coming back anytime soon, should the character be recast?

Absolutely not. Steve Burton owns that role and nobody can replace him. The mandate is over so do the right thing and bring him back asap. GH has not been the same since he left. This story line with Sonny, Carly, and Nina has turned into a circus! I am sick of the way all three are acting. Hate to even watch them. Please let Sonny be like he used to be and Carly stop pretending she doesn’t want Sonny back and get rid of Nina or put her with someone else. She and Sonny should have never got this deep. I am surprised that Frank would think the fans like what he is doing to these characters. We hate it. End it now or lose viewers because I don’t even watch it everyday because it makes me sick. I am not a fan anymore Frank!!!

Need to bring Jason Morgan back he is also one of the main characters in this soap opera
Considering that HIPPA is a real thing and Steve should not have had to disclose whether he had the shot or didn’t, and that mandate has been shot down repeatedly as it is…He never should have lost his job for that reason in the first place! They have tried to replace him before…and the MAJORITY of the fans did not like the change…even though most ALSO said that they DID like Billy Miller, just NOT as Jason Morgan! That character is literally tied to better than half of the other most popular characters on that show, so to remove the character again was ridiculous in every capacity, let alone adding the fact that another ill-received re-cast is the only other option!! FANS ARE BEGGING FOR BURTON TO BE ALLOWED TO RETURN!!!!
Absence of Steve has gone on long enough!!!!we need a new vital enforcer for Sonny who needs to step up his mob game and stay in control of his territory GH writers need to create a new role & yes Wes could easily fill the slot….. new name NOT JASON!!!
