British Royal News suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix series hasn’t even gotten a debut date, yet there is some speculation that suggests the docuseries is going to bomb – and bomb hard, too. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal News: Will Harry And Meghan’s Netflix Series Bomb?
Apparently, things aren’t looking good behind the scenes over at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s upcoming Netflix series. Several reports have indicated that either Harry and Meghan have been contradicting themselves in some of the things they’ve said on camera or they are trying to backtrack by edit out a few of their scenes. Another source says that Harry and Meghan have had a change of heart over a few things they’ve said on camera following Queen Elizabeth’s funeral last month.
And while some people believe that this isn’t good news for the Sussexes or Netflix for that matter, others think this is much to do about nothing. Some comments from fans and critics alike have included, “More Meghan and Harry are big liars (can’t forget to throw Meghan in there) who’s thoughts, words, feelings, books, movies, tv series, docs, podcasts, pamphlets and wall posters can’t be trusted. Netflix, Spotify, and PRH publishing appreciates the free publicity though. The hissy fits are now predictable and hilarious. Keep it up,” along with, “So what I’m getting fro this is that there has been a leak from Netflix’s end about what’s in the docuseries. I’m actually pretty convinced that was the case. They were all hyped up for what they thought would be “all about them”…and now they’ve found out that they aren’t mentioned in the series at all. I’m guessing from this that they have been snubbed entirely, as in H+M don’t ever speak about any of them. This must REALLY hurt.”
British Royal News: What’s Next For The Sussexes?
Another critic wrote, “I believe this story is BS in terms of the hand wringing, BUT the filmmakers at Netflix would absolutely have access to Harry’s book if Harry allowed them to. It would make sense if there was concern about overlapping content, and that they seemingly are being put out as companion pieces. They need to compliment one another. I would be more surprised if they didn’t have access to the book in some form.”
