Those who are naive, like certain entrepreneurs, arrogantly decide the company’s vision doesn’t match whatever their emotional goals are this week, compared to last.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) never built a business. Instead, she married, many times, into wealth, and that specific factor opened the daytime door to her career in the fashion world.

Katie’s remarriage to the wealthy Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is the reason why she has the capital to fuel the fledgling fashion house that she named after her paternal legacy.

But the difference between Katie and Brooke is that Tom’s character needs to fight to keep her business alive so that it can thrive, while Lang’s character is used to being on top of the fashion pile, and that’s made her haughty.

Ridge Forrester Is Making Independent Decisions

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has lost her business focus. That probably will be more than a short-term issue because of the child she conceived with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

So, Ridge is FC’s co-Chief Executive Officer, but he’s been the main voice who’s been talking to Zende in recent weeks.

The coming conflict, where de Metz’ character mulls over the option of leaving his family’s business, will put Ridge’s executive skills to the test.

The Forresters can’t afford to lose the designer who is slated to lead the new Electra youth-centric line.

That would be a disaster, likely causing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to be summoned home.

Zende Forrester Dominguez Must Do What’s Best

Zende is in the early prime of his career. He anticipated being deep into Hope for the Future at this stage, but Hope left FC and him because she felt slighted.

Hope’s best chance of convincing Zende to join her at Logan is linked to commiserating about how FC has continued the pattern of disrespecting its top talent. While Zende rightly feels slighted by Ridge, Kaye’s character didn’t abandon him like Hope.

Additionally, Logan’s future is far from guaranteed. Katie’s business could continue to soar or flop because it’s been dependent on poaching FC employees.

Yet, securing Zende could provide a knockdown gut punch. So, this intense fight between multiple families will continue, with the current flashpoint centering on who can convince Zende where his future is brightest.
