The Young And The Restless Spoilers Monday, May 18: Phyllis Spirals, Patty Stirs Chaos & Kyle Fears Family Collapse
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 18 point to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) searching for MIA Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) frets about his parents’ marriage.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is seeking revenge after the implosion of his relationship with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle fears it will not help any efforts toward a reunion.
Vindictive Diane can’t get past HER pain and anger over what happened between Jack and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) on a random yacht.
Never mind that Jack was the victim of an assault, she thinks she is the wronged party.
Still, Saint Diane has deigned to give her marriage another try.
Diane’s Benevolence
Last week Diane had a nightmare in which Jack moved on with Patty. That opened her eyes a bit and she is now willing to talk to Jack about their issues.
Jack is thrilled about this, as is Kyle. But Kyle thinks Jack should drop his revenge plan for now and stay away from Patty.
Jack Wants Victor to Pay
Will Jack drop his plan to use Patty against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or will he insist that Kyle put the plan into motion?
Jack’s plan is to ruin Victor’s marriage to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and that sounds awfully dangerous.
Phyllis Goes Hunting
Meanwhile, Phyllis panics when Matt leaves his suite at the GCAC. She insisted he stay inside but after leaving him alone the amnesiac took off.
Matt doesn’t know it, but Phyllis wants to trade Matt in exchange for
Victor dropping the fake charges against her.
Matt Defies Phyllis
Victor told her he also wants his empire back and now Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) intervenes to offer his own deal which entails Phyllis keeping NE.
There’s only one problem: she must find Matt before the Newmans do!
Phyllis Needs Matt
Elsewhere, during the week of May 18-22 Devon Winters (Bryton James) arranges a meeting with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) at her psych facility. Will he double down on her being properly punished for kidnapping his young son?
