Deacon Is A Massive Liar
That’s because he’s trying to justify his affair with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) but it’s clear as day that none of this was innocent from the start, even though that’s what he’s trying to tell himself.
As even many The Bold and the Beautiful fans can recall, Deacon was flirting with Taylor right away.
Some would even say that he went to her with a clear mission and that was to rebound with a woman he knew would be vulnerable after a fresh breakup. He knew where to find the weakest link, and he went straight for it.
But like most men that we’ve gotten to know in this fictional town of Los Angeles, Deacon has built a narrative in his head that might not align with reality, if you know what we mean.
Clearly, B&B fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Him asking Taylor what to do was just him looking for an excuse. He knew she doesn’t have good memories of Sheila, and there was a high chance she would tell him to leave her.
That way, he wouldn’t have to feel like a husband who failed. I don’t think he wanted to save his marriage even for a second.”
What’s Next For Deacon?
Another critic of the show wrote, “Two delusional hypocrites feeding each other lies. Deacon pretends he never saw Taylor scheming or playing unfairly. Taylor pretends she didn’t think Deacon was a lowlife before he became a successful businessman.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I can’t stand these two. Deacon became likable, and it seemed like he had gained some humility and learned from his past, but now he’s just awful again.”
