Having been thrown out of the rebuilt Ranch house, which was a gift for her, Nikki has teamed with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) recently released hostage.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t know what happened. Oh, he knows that Victor had him kidnapped and placed on a yacht in the middle of Lake Michigan. But Bergman’s long-suffering character can’t wrap his head around why he cavorted with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Nikki told Jack that she knows he would never cheat on Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) in a million years. But her forced illegal drug cover isn’t enough for him to accept.
Kyle Abbott Tells His Mother To Recognize Reality
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) told his mother the truth. She shouldn’t choose to believe Victor and Patty over his husband. That’s exactly right and the most direct path to reconciliation.
Jack is Victor’s victim. Patty is a dangerous sideshow that the Moustache exploited for multiple nefarious reasons.
Writing Y&R’s anti-hero way off the rails has proven to be great soapy. It’s wild to think that a returned, recast character, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) combined to force Victor to commit an unforced error and then to lose his company.
Artificial Intelligence Hype Needs To End
Viewers who have been using the internet for decades know that programs and algorithms have been aiding them. Today, some of that is now being rebranded as artificial intelligence in many places, including Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Of course, computer capability has expanded greatly over the past few years. In keeping with topical events, as soaps attempt to do, the concept of AI overtaking humanity was thrust upon the viewers in the form of Aristotle Dumas’ mega ploy.
Phyllis’ AI program theft, voluntary gift of Cane’s program to Victor, and his arrogant use of it cause Newman Enterprises to digitally vanish.
It reappeared under the sole proprietorship of Stafford’s character. This was a great mix of real-life hype of digital doom and the fall of Y&R’s King of the Hill, but it is time to wrap this lengthy storyline.
Lily Winters Waiting For Promised Payoff
Lily, looking as confident and resplendent as ever, walked into the Ranch living room expecting to be told that Chancellor was part of Winters. That didn’t happen, with Victor’s promise of their agreement being realized in a matter of weeks.
It seems like Lily and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will eventually add Chancellor, which is his birthright legacy, to their portfolio. But Lily continues to endure personal strife with her true love, Cane.
Meanwhile, Victor remains on the cusp of reclaiming the bulk of his empire, minus Chancellor and Newman Media. Whether his media weapon can be taken from Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) and Audra Cortes’ (Zuleyka Silver) grip is part of the ongoing drama.
