The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Faces His Past As Nick Has Final Showdown With Matt

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Faces His Past As Nick Has Final Showdown With MattThe Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) refused to go home. The man who formerly called himself Spider told his brother that while it was a bit jarring to return to Las Vegas, Nevada, he wasn’t going to let him handle Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) alone.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was impressed by Adam’s stance. He and viewers know that there have been many instances where the character Grossman now plays was bent on revenge against the Newman family.

But a lot has changed since Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) convinced Adam to return to Genoa City, Wisconsin. That happened after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) asked her to fly to Vegas and meet with Adam.

Mark Grossman’s Stellar Run Continues

Grossman became the latest Adam recast when he debuted in 2019. Devoted viewers recall that he was assumed dead after Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tried to kill him by setting an explosion at a remote location.

Adam lived and returned as a new man, with a wink toward the self-created name Christian Miller created with the victorious new man persona that he called Victor Newman. Adam’s mind was clouded due to the amnesia that resulted when he was nearly killed.

He made his way to Vegas and became a professional poker player. His handler was a woman named Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani). Her reappearance is tied to Matt.

Matt Clark’s Criticism Of His Wife Was Hypocritical?

Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) wondered if Matt was cheating on her while they were living in Los Angeles, California, and running The Shadow Room. She suspected that was happening, rather than him being an illegal drug facilitator.

It appears that Matt and Riza were connected, possibly romantically. With whatever backstory is told, her importance at this point in the current plot is to lure Adam into a trap.

Nick intends to end Matt’s decades of terror against the Newmans and hopes to use Adam’s association with Riza as an access point to his enemy. But nothing has ever been smooth when it comes to the character that Howarth now portrays.

Nick Newman Is Impaired And That’s Dangerous

Nick wasn’t able to stop Matt when he was fully aware. Viewers know that he’s been using an illegal substance, which appears to be the same one Matt and his goons were dealing in.

So, being impaired means that Nick is in great danger. Matt may or may not already know that, as he seems to have been tracking multiple members of the Newman family.

The endgame should involve Matt perishing if the signals that have been sent to the audience are direct. It would seem hard to believe that Nick or Adam would meet their ultimate fate in this storyline.

But with whatever the climax and outcome, Adam and Nick are far more likely to at least neutralize Matt if they aren’t separated from each other, as appears to be Riza’s task. She could also hold Adam to draw Nick in per Matt’s directive.
