The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Cane Launches Attack on Summer’s Business, Uses Marchetti to Threaten Phyllis?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will hit Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) where it hurts and hope that she’ll finally cave in. The stakes are high for Cane, so he’ll be willing to get down in the mud!
During the week of March 2-6, Cane will take what he views as an irresistible offer to Phyllis. Although Cane will make quite a pitch, Phyllis won’t be sold on whatever idea he brings to her.
Phyllis doesn’t like being at odds with her children, but there’s really nothing else she could want professionally. Now that Phyllis is running Newman Enterprises and has emerged victorious over Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), she’s living the dream.
It seems Phyllis will throw Cane’s offer right back in his face and insist on keeping the Newman empire. However, Cane will apparently take a “no more Mr. Nice Guy” approach and decide it’s time to truly play dirty.
After Cane and Phyllis exchange warnings, this Y&R storyline will take a stunning turn. Cane will hit Phyllis where it hurts and ignite her fury in the process.
Could Cane launch some sort of attack on Marchetti or at least threaten to? Cane might play hardball and warn that if Phyllis doesn’t sign Newman back over to Victor, Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) will lose the career she loves.
Marchetti means a lot to Summer, who’s already livid with Phyllis over the Newman takeover. If Marchetti gets stolen or blown apart because of Phyllis’ actions too, then Summer might never forgive her.
Of course, Phyllis might point out that Summer is Victor’s granddaughter and argue he isn’t going to approve. However, Cane might contend that Victor has never liked Summer working under the Jabot umbrella anyway.
Besides, Victor understands that sometimes sacrifices have to be made when you’re fighting for a big prize. Victor also knows that when you’re dealing with someone as selfish as Phyllis, you’re limited on what will actually matter to her.
Cane might surprise Phyllis if he admits Victor’s given him permission to do what needs to be done.
Whether AI is involved or Cane uses some other strategy for a Marchetti takedown, he may promise bad news is brewing if Phyllis doesn’t do what she’s told.
