The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 22 reveal that the Newman family is front and center smack dab in the middle of the week.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) confesses something to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) while they wait and worry about their comatose son Noah Newman (Lucas Adams)
Sharon has two kids in crisis—while she watches over Noah, her mind is on daughter Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). The former cult member is rehabbing in Boston, thousands of miles away from LA.
Sharon is Desperate to Help Her Kids
Full of emotion, Sharon spills all to Nick about her turmoil. In turn, her ex assures her that she is a solid mom.
Nick and Sharon support each other as they wonder if Noah has brain damage and who is responsible for his hit and run accident.
Has Noah been keeping dark secrets from his parents, resulting in his present predicament?

Meanwhile, a lost Mariah hallucinates a visit by her tormentor/ex-husband/cult leader Ian Ward (Ray Wise).
Mariah was triggered over her past by a random encounter months ago, hence her stay at a Boston facility.
All we can say is that Mariah is in the best place possible given her condition. Will we finally find out if she murdered the old skeeve she was flirting with while her wife and kid waited at home? (Do we care at this point?).
Ian Ward Haunts Mariah
Elsewhere, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) tries to recover from Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) inebriated kiss. Daniel would never take advantage of Tessa but he has feelings for her.
In the meantime, her wife Mariah is trying to heal and come home. While Tessa sobers up, Daniel is beside himself, his emotions taking over in the heat of the moment.
How will he manage his growing feelings? Mariah herself asked Daniel to take care of Tessa whiles she’s gone but we doubt she meant this type of health care.
