Lets talk about Sean Kanan defending the show against a fan who was determined to get it shut down. Viewers have made no secret that they are not happy with the writing of the Bold And the Beautiful these days.

Fans have a right to speak their minds. However, calling for a show to shut down and costing several people their jobs is completely different.

Some people actually enjoy the show even if we do have issues with parts here and there. There is no need for us to miss out on the show because someone else wants the show to be shut down because of their opinion.

Let’s be honest, we only have five soaps left, its not like we can spare any more right now.

Sean Kanan Calls Out The Disrespect

People work hard to put these shows on the air and to make them worth watching. It is extremely unfair do demand cancellation when so much effort goes into one episode.

This is why Kanan felt the need to speak out on X (formerly Twitter) after reading one such suggestions. What did Kanan have to say?

“You are certainly entitled to your opinion about the writing and direction of the show,”Kanan commented. “However when you call for the show to be cancelled you are calling for hundreds of hard working people who consistently do their best to create the very best show possible to lose their jobs.”

Kanan also pointed out that these employee also had families who depend on them for support. People need to remember that behind these characters are real people who have real lives and real responsibilities. “These are people with families who depend upon them.

I’m sure that wasn’t your intention but words matter,” Kanan said wrapping up his post.

It didn’t take very long for fans to jump in and offer their support to Kanan. Granted, there is alway room for improvement on the ABC soap.
