The Young and the Restless news says that you can’t blame him for feeling the way that he feels. Eric Braeden, who is best known for his role as Victor Newman on the hit CBS soap, recently took to his Twitter account to express just how ‘sick and tired’ when it comes to gun control in the nation. Here’s what you need to know.

On Tuesday, December 6, reports indicated that at least three people were left dead after a Las Vegas shooting. According to CNN, authorities on the scene said that one person was also left in critical condition following the shooting at the UNLV campus. The suspect is dead.

As many The Young and the Restless fans already know, Eric is a very outspoken person. Soon after the news was announced, Eric took to his Twitter account to write, “So sick and tired of trying to figure out what motivated another nutcase to go on a shooting rampage!!! Tighten the effing gun laws!! And don’t give me this shit about the second amendment!! It has been grossly and fraudulently misinterpreted!!”

Needless to say, many of his social media fans and followers also weighed in on the matter. Some of them said, “My daughter lives in East Lansing less than a mile from Michigan State University. The night of the school shooting there in February of this year, I was absolutely terrified. I agree with you, Eric! Thoughts and prayers aren’t enough damnit,” to which Eric replied with, “They haven’t stopped a damn thing so far!!”

The Young and the Restless News: Eric Wants Change 

Another one of Eric’s followers wrote, “What will it take for GOP US Senators, House Congressmen/Women to take action on Mass Shootings which take place all the time in this country during the year? Will they have to lose a loved one to Gun Violence for things to change dealing with this Gun Epidemic in the US?”

So far Eric has not made any additional comments about the matter.
