Of course, we are talking about the union between Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). It looks like the straw that is about to break the camel’s back is going to have significant repercussions on their marriage.
That’s because it seems like Ridge is ready and willing to dump his wife over the fact that she wants to forgive her daughter Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) for leaving Forrester Creations to continue her career over at their new competition, the house of Logan.
It goes without saying that for Ridge, there’s no way that he’s ever going to forgive Hope for humiliating his company in the way that she did. What Hope did was not only a huge disgrace, but it has also made her very untrustworthy in his eyes.
But at the same time, Hope is Brooke’s daughter. Sure, what she did was horribly professional, but personally, it’s not like Brooke can go on her entire life without talking to her daughter, right?
Sure, Brooke hasn’t been the best mother in the world, but even she knows that the world doesn’t work that way. As much as her alliance might be with Forrester Creations, she’s not going to cut Hope out of her life.
