Melania Trump’s Extreme Payout Is Raising Eyebrows
According to the Daily Beast, a lot of fans are surprised to see that Melania managed to make a $17 million dollar pay out from her documentary that was aptly titled ‘Melania.’
However, a lot of critics are quite shocked to hear that the First Lady of the United States managed to pocket such a profit seeing how many people would be hard pressed to find anyone who actually sat through the film in a movie theater back in January.
That’s because the documentary generated such little interest that some movie theaters had to pull the film from theaters altogether, per the New York Times.
Things were so bad at one point that Melania herself felt as though she couldn’t show her face in public.
It’s not enough that ticket sales were as poor as they were, but Melania also got some of the worst movie reviews in the last twelve months. A lot of people called it a snoozefest and a documentary that’s not even worth watching if it were available for online streaming.
For Melania, she knows that this is as bad as it can get. However, she can’t help but put the blame on her husband, President Donald Trump, and his approval rating, which has sunk to all new lows these last several weeks.
What’s Next For Melania Trump?
So far Melania Trump herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
But seeing how her first film didn’t get the reviews that she was hoping for, it’s very unlikely that she is going to make a second one in the future.
But whether or not the First Lady is actually going to donate her earnings, remains to be seen, too. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
