The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily Pushes Cane, Nick Stuns Sharon, Adam Lashes Out at Chelsea

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 15, reveal that the Newman brothers are large and in charge in this episode.

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) pressures Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) receives a shock from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Let’s dish all the juice that’s fit to print, Y&R fans!

The Newman Boys Are Front and Center

Over at Crimson Lights, Nick and Sharon catch up. He may tell her about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan for him to befriend Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and feed him a bunch of misleading bull.

Nick is a loyal son and we predict he would have no problem doing Victor’s bidding. Especially since Nick was almost killed on Cane’s Nice estate. How exactly would he protect his family?

The idea is to get Cane to go after Jabot instead of Chancellor.

Will Sharon Approve of Victor’s Plan?

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) runs Jabot and we sense that Sharon isn’t on board with him being targeted. Nick is gung ho about keeping his family’s assets safe, and his fervor takes Sharon for a loop. She sees a side of Nick that surprises her, and how she responds may surprise you!

Elsewhere, Adam is frustrated by Chelsea’s need to advocate for her ex, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Billy has made his stance on Billy clear, and he can’t believe Chelsea is still banging on about poor Billy Boy.

As a result, Adam loses his temper with Chelsea.

Adam wants Chelsea to commit to “Team Newman” and stop defending her ex. But Billy is also planning a covert op! Billy thinks he can work with Cane and ruin him from the inside out.

Eventually, Adam and Chelsea see Nick and Sharon at the coffeehouse and Cane and Billy are hotly debated.

Cane’s Solemn Vow

For his part, Cane makes a promise to his ex Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). She wants him to tell the twins about his double life and she will help him, but in return she wants Cane to come clean about his business agenda in Genoa City.

Will Cane be tempted to tell the truth? Or will he vow that he will prove over time to Lily that she can trust him?
