Donald Trump Might Serve A Third Term In Office
Per the latest reports, Rep. Andy Ogles proposes amending the 22nd Amendment to allow President Trump to serve a third term in office.
Ogles has introduced a House Joint Resolution to amend the Constitution to allow a president to be elected for no more than three terms.
“President Trump’s decisive leadership stands in stark contrast to the chaos, suffering, and economic decline Americans have endured over the past four years,” Ogles said.
He continued, “I am proposing an amendment to the Constitution to revise the limitations imposed by the 22nd Amendment on presidential terms. This amendment would allow President Trump to serve three terms, ensuring that we can sustain the bold leadership our nation so desperately needs.”
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Trump has been a great president, but amending the Constitution for a third term could risk a dictatorship by a future administration. JD Vance is very talented and should take over the GOP when Trump retires.”

Another critic wrote, “It’s a hard NO for me! Love DJT, but we don’t need even the possibility of seeing Obama again. Twice was enough for me.”
And then there was this comment as well: “To be honest, I don’t really think this is necessary nor do I think Trump would want to run a third time. He already stated he did not want to run this past time but felt it was needed because of the state of the country. I think two terms consecutive or not should be the max.”
So far Donald Trump himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
