Trump made the announcement on his social media channel, Truth Social.
He said, “Pam was a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, where she was very tough on Violent Criminals, and made the streets safe for Florida Families.”
“Then, as Florida’s first female Attorney General, she worked to stop the trafficking of deadly drugs, and reduce the tragedy of Fentanyl Overdose Deaths, which have destroyed many families across our Country.”
Trump continued, “She did such an incredible job, that I asked her to serve on our Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission during my first Term — We saved many lives!”
One personal close to the situation said that everyone around Trump seems to be very happy with this pick.
It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. One source close to the situation even said, “Pam is a solid choice. Feel much better about her chances.”

Some comments have even included, “Bondi’s experience and commitment to justice will be a breath of fresh air for the DOJ. She is from Florida, so I’m confident it’s a good pick.”
