Of course, we are talking about The Bold and the Beautiful newcomer Laneya Grace, who is making her debut as Electra Forrester on the hit CBS soap.
In a new interview with TV Insider, Laneya opened up about what fans can expect to see from her character in the coming weeks ahead.
She said, “She knows what she wants and she wants to take it and I love her. She’s maybe got a little bit of a path that we might find out about later. But she’s definitely very, very excited to be in Los Angeles with her Aunt Ivy and doing what she loves.”
Laneya is also a student at the University of Houston who is going to be juggling her school work with her soap work to the best of her ability.
She said, I ended up skipping my first day of school and I came down to L.A. and I met a bunch of producers and Brad Bell [executive producer/head writer]. A week later I got the job.”
Laneya also said that she’s excited to be a part of The Bold and the Beautiful cast as it’s certainly been like a dream come true for her so far. She said, “It’s just an incredible legacy to be a part of.”

Also, recalling the first day of work, Laneya said, “I was so nervous. I knew that I knew all of my lines and I got up there and I was like, ‘Are they gonna leave my brain?’ I did end up remembering all of them and the nerves went away so quickly.”
