The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 23 indicate that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is on a roll, and continues to spill her guts out to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Crimson.
Billy has been pressuring her to come clean about what happened between her and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in Baltimore, Maryland and the spigot is finally gushing.

Billy is not surprised by Chelsea’s admittance since he basically knew all along that she was lying to cover her behind. But, will Chelsea be shameless and beg Billy to keep the secret and not ruin Adam and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) relationship? Definitely maybe!
At the same time Adam is being grilled by Sally who asks point blank if he slept with his ex.

Sally just wants the truth but sadly Adam keeps being the lying weasel that he is. No surprise there. How many leaves has he vowed to turn over?
Adam remains stubborn which means he likely doesn’t cop to his indiscretion. But he has no idea that Billy could 86 his relationship with Chelsea despite his efforts to keep it alive.

Adam should man up and tell the truth, but he’s told so many lies already that he probably believes them. Tell us Y&R fans, do you want to stick a fork in Sadam or do you want these two lovebirds to work things out?
Meanwhile, ghostly Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is back to haunting Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). This interaction is all in Sharon’s mind and we are about to see some seriously demented stuff come from this storyline.

Spoiler alert: Cameron gives Sharon some terrible advice. And in her state of mind she is dangerous! Sharon is going through a medication change and as such she is struggling.
This is why she is vulnerable to Cameron and we can’t think of a better time for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to ride in on his white horse and save her.

I’m still so ticked off that the writers took this path. Why has boring to tears Devon and Abbie been allowed to exist for years and we can’t get good Adam and Adam and Sally for more than a week or so?!🤷♀️.
And for the writers to sacrifice them for this rediculas, stupid, makes no sense, who the hell cares, OCD debacle makes it even worse.
Just so sick and tired of Adam being the whipping boy.
I love Adam and it’s sad that the lazy, unimaginative writers can’t write a decent story for him.
