Even though it is yet to happen, there’s speculation that Sarah Ferguson has been refused an invite to King Charles’ funeral. And of course, a lot of people are not only shaking their heads over it, but they also want to know why.
Even though Prince Andrew has been brought back into the royal fold despite all of his past controversies, for some reason or another King Charles just can’t warm up to Sarah Ferguson.
Royal Family News: What’s Next For Sarah Ferguson?
A lot of people wonder if that’s because his own father Prince Philip never accepted Sarah into the family or because the King of England just can’t warm up to her.
Either way, Sarah Ferguson has always made a point to praise King Charles in her public interviews. She has always made it clear that she respects him and thinks that he’s a great leader of the monarchy.
But at the same time, she’s been shunned so many times by the royal family that a lot of people can’t help but wonder why she even bothers anymore. She wasn’t invited to his coronation and now there’s a very good chance that she won’t be invited to his funeral to pay her last respects.
Yet, Sarah Ferguson is not the kind of person who is going to air her grievances in public. Sure, she’s made a lot of embarrassing mistakes in the past but she won’t say a bad word about King Charles or the monarchy for that reason.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that they will.
