Clearly, if King Charles wanted to see his Prince Harry, he easily could, but it looks like meeting with his son is not on his agenda. The King of England appeared at the High Court in London on Thursday. And he didn’t appear there because he was in trouble, instead, he wanted to celebrate the ‘exceptional work’ of the court staff. However, the visit coincidentally comes just one day before the same court will rule on Prince Harry’s legal case against the Mirror Group Newspapers. Here’s what you need to know.

Did King Charles visit the courts to help influence Prince Harry’s court case? Well, it all depends on who you ask. But it also seems like the King of England only shows up to London when his son is not there. While it’s been reported that the Duke of Sussex has tried to arrange a meeting with his father so they could iron out their issues, it just hasn’t happened yet. That might be because King Charles doesn’t want it to happen.

Some critics have even commented on the matter with, “Charles doesn’t need to show up to influence the courts. I am guessing he could do it by privately summoning key players for ‘tea at the palace.’ But this is certainly bad optics,” along with, “The appearance of his visit influencing the court should be condemned. Imagine if the case were reversed.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Please! They already know that Harry will lose the case. Charles is there to thank his associates for their protection.”
