Victor cuts ties with an ally. Victor is very upset with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) for taking Diane’s case. Michael works for Victor and shouldn’t be representing the person who killed someone so close to them all. Is Michael the person he cuts ties with?

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) pleads her case to Summer Abbott (Alison Lanier). Phyllis then swears Summer to secrecy because she cannot let the truth get out. Jack makes an impulsive decision. Will Jack arrange to marry Diane while she’s in jail to try to prove that she isn’t a flight risk?
Summer and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) share a difference of opinion. Is this about Phyllis or something else?
Michael disappoints Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman). Lauren is furious that Michael has chosen to represent Diane, but Michael considers her a friend and cannot let her down.
