Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the actor, who is best known for his role as Jeremy Stark, admitted that his character will be sticking a little bit longer on Y&R. He said, “The first E-mail I got said, ‘It’s just one episode and we don’t know anything after that. Since it was a new character that no one had played before, I couldn’t say no to that. There was never anything on their part about how the character would be written. and for how long, just that he would be recurring. I imagine that it was, ‘Put him out there and see what happens.’”
Back in October, James said that his character is certainly the kind of person who has a lot up his sleeve. Speaking to the publication, James says, “He’s a complete 180 from what you last saw me in daytime. Jeremy comes to Genoa City on a mission and he’s not going to leave until he gets what he wants. There’s a lot that happens in the first seven episodes and he’s definitely going to stir things up.”

That said, it sounds as though Jeremy still has so much to uncover. James added, “The scripts I’m getting now have me really excited. It’s some great stuff that really gets into the meat of my character. It would be fun if he got to stick around and cause trouble. For all we know, he could be connected to another person in Genoa City.”
