The Young and the Restless News: James Hyde Wants Jeremy To Stick Around In Genoa City
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while Genoa City can be a very chaotic city, it’s one that James Hyde would like to stay in. The actor, who is now playing a new character by the name of Jeremy, says that he would love it if he could stick around a little more and cause some trouble. Here’s what he has to say.
The Young and the Restless News: James Hyde Wants Jeremy To Stick Around In Genoa City
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, James says that his character is certainly the kind of person who has a lot up his sleeve. Speaking to the publication, James says, “He’s a complete 180 from what you last saw me in daytime. Jeremy comes to Genoa City on a mission and he’s not going to leave until he gets what he wants. There’s a lot that happens in the first seven episodes and he’s definitely going to stir things up.”
In other words, it sounds as though Jeremy is not going to make life easy for Diane Jenkins. James continues, “Jeremy was the one who helped Diane with her new identity as Taylor in Los Angeles. He would invite her on extravagant trips to these beautiful islands and say, ‘The only thing you need is your bags packed.’ What Jeremy would do was stuff her suitcases with money and then deposit it in an island bank. When Diane found out, she felt hurt and betrayed and wanted to end their relationship, but Jeremy said, ‘Oh no, you are in way too deep for this to end.’ Now, after he spent some time in prison, he shows up in Genoa City to see Diane.”

That said, it sounds as though Jeremy still has so much to uncover. James added, “The scripts I’m getting now have me really excited. It’s some great stuff that really gets into the meat of my character. It would be fun if he got to stick around and cause trouble. For all we know, he could be connected to another person in Genoa City.”
