During the Thursday episode, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) made the choice to give up her ill-gotten Newman empire. When Sharon hears about this she has a unique take on the decision.
Friday’s Episode is Fire
Phyllis didn’t want to go to prison, but good-hearted Sharon also thinks that her frenemy wanted to do the right thing.
Sharon knows that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t need to worry about NE, and she may thank Phyllis for taking this distraction off the table.
Nick’s Nightmare
With Newman Enterprises back where it belongs, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is free to follow through on unfinished business.
If you recall, Victor told Lily that he would reward her if she helped him to trap Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) by pretending to be fake kidnapped.
Lily asked for Chancellor, will Victor come through for her? The answer is a surprising yes. On Friday’s epi, Lily is told that Chancellor is hers.
Victor tells Lily he will sign it over to her and frankly we are surprised given Victor’s penchant for double crossing people.
Victor Comes Through
Elsewhere, Victoria is thrilled that Phyllis agreed to give back the family empire. She runs into Kyle at the GCAC and they have a nice chat.
Actually, they do more than that because things are so peachy between them.
The animosity between them is gone and Victoria and Kyle share a toast and clink coffee cups!
Kyle and Victoria Toast

Audra and Holden discover that The Shadow Room was put together in Genoa
City and that stirs memories of the mayhem they caused there.
