The actor recently reached out to both men on social media and even wrote, “Let’s have an honest and open discussion on mental health on your show or my show, State of mind.
It’s all for the better of mental health. I think it would help a lot of people.”
But then again, Maurie has made it no secret that he’s looking to break out from the daytime television world in one way or another.
In other words, Maurice might be thinking about going into podcasting full-time.
That’s because anyone who has been paying attention to the actor or even taking a peek at his social media accounts will see that all he likes to talk about these days is his mental health series, State of Mind.

But some people think that Maurice might be overreaching a big by reaching out to Joe Rogan.
That’s because Maurice doesn’t really have a background or any formal education when it comes to the topic of mental health. Sure, he’s got life experience, but that’s about it.
