The Spencers Conduct Dirty Business?
Was it dirty for Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to take Eric up on his offer?
Another good question would be to ask who pursued whom. Fans witnessed Eric not only tell Katie that he backed her decision to head the fashion house that Bill gifted to her after their remarriage, but also to later offer to provide the designs for her first collection.
That’s the plot point that Ridge, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Steffy can’t accept.
Eric doesn’t focus on the Spencers being wrong. While he doesn’t like that they used his designs, the co-founder of FC knows that he willingly agreed to work for Logan.
Is Bill Spencer Focused On What’s Next?
Bill is a sharp businessman. That’s why his self-created nickname, Dollar Bill, still applies and likely always will.
But he’s gushing about Katie’s great victory. That makes sense because he wants his renewed bride to take a victory lap.
She pulled off the seemingly impossible in having a startup fashion company hit hard within a matter of months after announcing its launch.
However, Bill has to know that FC will not stand by and watch its perceived non-rival continue to go.
He should believe that Ridge, Steffy, Brooke, and Eric are planning a counterattack that includes a new powerhouse line and payback for Logan.
Katie Logan Spencer Has To Clear Her Head
Logan will face deep trouble if Katie continues to fixate on what Brooke thinks. While her oldest sister’s validation is wanted, Katie must think about what comes next.
She has Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) in the pipeline. But he’s a new talent who has no track record. Other than him, there is no known roster of talent.
Soap being soap, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) has been sidelined just as Katie was by FC months ago. That implies Hope will take her talent willingly to Logan and, unlike Eric, won’t soon regret doing so.
