Tragic Details About Michelle Obama’s Presidential Campaign
Clearly, we are talking about Michelle Obama as two years after her unsuccessful attempt for the presidency, there are tragic details coming out about the campaign that never got off the ground.
While there was a lot of speculation suggesting Michelle Obama was going to run for the highest office in the land, there were some things that were clearly stopping her from making it happen.
Back when there was still speculation suggesting Joe Biden was going to drop out of the presidential race because of his supposed decline in his cognitive health, everyone was pointing their fingers at Michelle Obama to be his replacement.
Both Barack and Michelle were very vocal about their support for Kamala Harris and even hit the campaign trail in the hopes that they could help her win the keys to the White House.
Unfortunately, their efforts were not enough as Donald Trump won the election in a landslide.
However, Michelle made it clear that she didn’t want to run for the highest office of the land.
She’s been there, done that and certainly didn’t want to go back simply because she dealt with all of the stress when her husband, Barack Obama, was president for two terms.
What’s Next For Michelle Obama?
But then again, Michelle did have her own chance at running for president but she decided not to shoot her shot.
She’s been there and done that when her own husband Barack Obama was president and didn’t want to return to the White House with the stress of being the Commander in Chief herself.
Plus, there’s a very good chance that Michelle might consider a run for the presidency in 2028 if all goes well.
That said, there’s no evidence that suggests Michelle regrets backing Kamala just yet, nor has the former first lady said anything about whether or not she will run for office in the future.
So far Michelle Obama herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space for more!
