Is it too late to change his mind? That’s what a lot of royalists on both sides of the pond can’t help but wonder as King Charles is being pressured to cancel his upcoming trip to Washington, D.C.
King Charles Pressured To Cancel His Trip Because Of Donald Trump
And as our loyal readers can already imagine, it’s all because of Donald Trump and his war on Iran.
A lot of critics think that the King of England should take a stand and boycott Trump and cancel his trip, as it would be the right thing to do.
Not only that, but there are other royal critics who think Queen Elizabeth would have canceled the trip already and that she would have found a good reason to have pulled the plug on the trip.
But for some reason or another, King Charles just refuses to do so. Plus, he’s got another reason why he shouldn’t be traveling right now, and it’s because of his ongoing cancer treatments.
Not only that, but it’s not going to be a good look for King Charles and Queen Camilla to make the extra effort to go on this trip to visit Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump while ignoring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in California.
It’s been years since King Charles has seen his two American grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet and seeing how he’s going to be on the other side of the pond, it would make a lot of sense for him to see them, right?

But it’s pretty clear that’s not going to happen. Instead of spending time with family, King Charles and his wife Camilla are going to be participating in photo ops with the President of the United States during this very controversial time in history.
And while King Charles is hoping that this will be a quick and easy trip, that’s never the case when a royal visits the White House, right?
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
