Considering Kirsten Storms has not been seen as Maxie Jones in a few months and she has to commute long-distance, the show may need to address it.
Surely They Won’t Just Give Maxie The TJ Treatment!
Eagle-eyed General Hospital fans and some writers couldn’t help but notice that Kirsten Storms was no longer shown in the after-episode credits and her photo gone from the lineups.
But Kirsten had returned from having several months off, in which they put Maxie in a coma as she moved cross-country to Tennessee and found out her brain aneurysm had shrunk.
More recently, Kirsten had to go off social media for several weeks due to being stalked and problems being hacked-that could have a lot to do with her dropping to recurring as well.
General Hospital fans just have found out what happened to TJ Ashford (most recently Tajh Bellow) after an absence with no mention for nearly a year.
Surely they won’t give Maxie the “TJ treatment” and just write her out with no explanation at all!

Something like an offscreen kidnapping could fit into present storylines, what with the current chaos in Port Charles in recent weeks.
Right around the time of Maxie’s last scene, which involved Maxie and Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) breakup, she had serious financial questions for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
It was Sidwell who had poisoned some face cream to get her out of his way so he could get a controlling interest in Deception Cosmetics, and that’s what caused her coma.
Shortly afterwards, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) put the screws to Sidwell about a shipment audit, and told him to say goodbye to his control over the company.
But then the Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) murder, and the Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) fiasco happened!
Anna Missing, Jason Arrested, Now Maxie Missing Too?
Chaos has been happening in Port Charles for several weeks now, with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) having gone missing, and Jason arrested, and now Maxie’s missing too? Just the Anna situation was enough to worry poor Felicia half to death, and even though Felicia isn’t particularly close to Jason, he would still be on her radar-and now, Maxie? Felicia isn’t actively a private investigator at this time, although her husband Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is still Chief of Detectives.
Felicia has done a lot of detective work and even helped Anna on some WSB missions, but it doesn’t take a detective or a spy to realize there’s a common thread.
Has Sidwell struck again and made Maxie disappear, only worse this time, because no one knows where she is?
