Although Lulu and Nathan have had a lot of bonding time in recent months – including their night trapped at Bad Jen Café during the blizzard – they haven’t actually been out on a date yet.
Nathan and Lulu will change that during the week of March 16-20 since they’re about to go on their first official date together. The evening should bring some butterflies and laughs, which should be nice after all the drama Lulu and Nathan have faced lately.
The news of their romantic status didn’t go over well with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), so that’s been stressing Nathan and Lulu out.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) wasn’t particularly thrilled about Lulu and Nathan dating either, but the hard part’s over now that the truth is out. Nathan and Lulu are moving forward with their romance, so Dante has accepted that and Maxie seems like she’s inching in that direction, too.
Regardless, Lulu and Nathan want to explore their mutual feelings, so this first date will bring a great opportunity for that. Nathan and Lulu will undoubtedly enjoy a nice dinner along with a pleasant conversation, but it won’t be long until things go off the rails.
It turns out Lulu and Nathan will face an unexpected interruption according to GH spoilers for the March 19 episode. Could someone like Maxie pop up for an awkward interaction and prove she can be civil when things like this happen?
That’s one option to consider, but it’s also possible someone like Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) could stumble upon the date in progress. It’d give Britt a chance to reunite with Maxie and perhaps say some version of a goodbye to Nathan since she’s planning a Canada trip.
Then again, the interruption might come in the form of a phone call. Nathan might be summoned for some urgent police business, so that could serve as a reminder of what Lulu’s getting herself into by dating an in-demand detective.
